Eight papers of Institute for Grey System Studies at NUAA were selected as FRONTRUNNER 5000—Top Articles in Outstanding S&T journals of China in 2020
According to the announcement issued by Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China, eight papers of Institute for Grey System Studies at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics were selected as FRONTRUNNER 5000—Top Articles in Outstanding S&T journals of China in 2020. In order to promote the entry of Chinese Sci-tech Journals into important international retrieval systems and to promote Chinese excellent papers to the international academic community, Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China has launched the platform of FRONTRUNNER 5000—Top Articles in Outstanding S&T journals of China since 2014. The outstanding S&T journals of China had been selected first based on strict evaluation with quantitative and qualitative indexes and Chinese scientific and Technical papers and Citations Database (CSTPCD). Then, each paper published in the outstanding S&T journals of China has been evaluated quantitatively using the theory and quantitative analysis method of scientometrics. The platform of FRONTRUNNER 5000—Top Articles in Outstanding S&T journals of China has been built.
Institute for Grey System Studies at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics focus on Chinese original grey system theory research and global communication for a long period of time. The faculty members and students of IGSS are encouraged to publish academic papers in the top international journals in the field. At the same time, IGSS actively advocate the publication of important achievements in outstanding Chinese journals, so as to facilitate more Chinese scholars to share and apply to solve practical problems. It is reported that from 2014 to now, a total of 24 papers were selected as FRONTRUNNER 5000—Top Articles in Outstanding S&T journals of China. Among them, 2 papers were rated as “China’s top 100 most influential domestic academic papers”.
